A group of experts from academic, clinical and industrial circles got together at the seminar in SIP on Apr 26, exchanging ideas on cooperation between enterprises, education institutions, research institutes and medical institutions in promoting the development and clinical application of cutting-edge biomedical and other healthcare technologies.
The event was jointly sponsored by the Western Returned Scholars Association of Soochow University, the BioBAY Western Returned Scholars Association, the National Center of Technology Innovation for Biopharmaceuticals and BioBAY.
In the event, the experts from several affiliated hospitals of Soochow University shared their views on use of robotic and minimally invasive surgical technologies in clinical treatments, and those from several biomedicine companies and hospitals exchanged opinions on prospects of emerging therapies and related challenges.
