A citywalk event is going to take place on the banks of Jinji Lake in SIP on May 1. The participants will walk along an about 13-kilometer route or an about 5-kilometer route to enjoy the amazing scenery of SIP.
There will be many activities during the walk. In one of them, the participants can take photos before a number of exhibition boards highlighting the contrast between the past and current looks of SIP, and post the photos on the WeChat Moments. If they could receive enough “likes”, they will receive gifts such as a power bank, glass cup or suitcase.
There will be a game devised to mark the 30th anniversary of SIP’s inception. The participants can look for “treasures” at 30 sites and get prizes.
There will be also a carnival at Jinji Lake Urban Square where the participants can play various fun games and take part in the campaign aimed at recycling plastic bottles and used books.
