Xinghui Community in SIP’s Xietang Sub-district recently joined hands with the crew working for the Songtao Street section of Suzhou Rail Transit Line 2 to advocate eco-friendly travel among local residents.
A member of the crew gave the residents in the community a specific introduction to the services at subway stations and benefits of public transportation, and offered them multiple options for transfer between bus and subway.
Moreover, a number of residents at different ages visited the Yueliangwan Subway Station in the company of a volunteer, learning about the design, operation, equipment and services of the subway station.
The participants also received hand-painted maps with highlighted marks of travel routes and scenic spots, and visited the driver’s cab of a subway train.
